The Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders prides itself on taking the most up-to-date research and translating it into individualized programming for our patients. Below we offer additional resources to further educate yourself on eating disorders.

Academy for Eating Disorders (AED)

The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting greater scientific understanding of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and related disorders. Works to promote evidence based care.

Eating Disorders Coalition for Research, Policy & Action (EDC)

The Eating Disorders Coalition for Research, Policy & Action (EDC) is an organization that promotes better understanding of eating disorders and how to advocate for better care.

Eating Disorders Research at Maudsley Hospital

Eating Disorders Research at Maudsley Hospital is from the Website of the Maudsley Hospital's division the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London and the Eating Disorders Unit, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Maudsley Hospital developed the Family Based Treatment model for adolescents with Eating Disorders and continues to be a leader in the field.  The site contains information about eating disorders, support for families, research updates, and addtitonal resources for patients, families and health professionals.

FEAST

FEAST, which stands for Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment, is an organization founded by families and advocates for recovery from eating disorders, finding evidence-based care, and and advocating for those suffering from eating disorders.

International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP)

The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) is an organization that offers education, training, certification for practitioners who treat those with eating disorders.

Maudsley Parents

Maudsley Parents is a family run Website providing support and education for families and adolescents dealing with eating disorders.  It provides information on the evidence based Maudsley Approach, family-based treatment crucial to the recovery of adolescents with eating disorders.

National Institute of Mental Health

National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA)

The National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) is a family and advocacy group working to promote better understanding and treatment of eating disorders, patients and families.
